    Los Angeles Area Mechanics

Not sure if this has been discussed previously but I'm on the hunt for a new mechanic to take care of items such as oil, fluids, brakes, and the like (I sadly do not have the space nor equipment to do these on my own). I recently used EAS for my suspension refresh and while they are excellent, I see them as more of a project shop given the time and effort to get to Anaheim. I've asked a few folks privately on who they recommend and each has their favorite, so I wanted to see if there was any sort of consensus amongst those of us based in the LA area.

My brother has a shop if you need work done, he is currently doing my E60 M5 6MT and Sharocks Dinan S3R. Send me a message if you need a referral.

Ikonic auto garage specializes in bmw only: they are good I’ve had them do work on my car, fair pricing and respectable work.

For maintenance things like that and random little things on my car I always call L0okitzRaj - he’s got a shop in Tarzana, is an OG e46 M3 guy and just such a kind guy to deal with. Plus the job gets done right every time! He just did my shadow trim gaskets, spacers, paint correction, ceramic coat, new m3 badge on the trunk and I couldn’t be happier with the work completed. Can’t recommend Raj enough, he’s the man!

Why don't one of you guys move to rural TN so I can be lazy and not do a darn thing? Just hang out at your shop and tell ya you're doing it wrong.

I have used IKONIC in the past and while they do good work, they aren't the most punctual nor communicative at times which is why I used EAS for my recent suspension work.

I'd definitely reach out to JMP Autowerks in Canoga. Great pricing, knowledge, and the communication was probably the best.
