    Anyone using Redline-MTLV?

So right now I am using the OE trans fluid. No issues or complaints other than its a pricey guy.

Premium GL-4 middleweight oil for manual/SMG transmissions and some BMW transfer case applications.

I saw that Redline had this when doing some other shopping, would make doing frequent flushes more cost effective for me. I know there are plenty of options for the trans fluid, but wanted to see if anyone had tried this as well

I just bought some for my X7's TC, but thought to myself that it'd be perfect for our sticky getrags. I've been happy with factory mt lt2 and pentosin mtf2 and their new replacement, ffl4. So plenty of choices, but this is perfect - a high quality low weight GL4.

I run this in my M3, it's definitely helped smooth out the gear changes in the colder mornings. I have it paired with the AutoSolutions SSK.

I ran it in my SMG. Started grinidng gears. Went back to d4 ATF and seems to be better.

I've had good results with Royal Purple. Helped with the notchy 1-2 shift especially during the winter months.

I run Redline D4 in one of my cars, it's okay.

Stock is fine if your transmission isn't a POS.

I'd try the 50/50 first before going full MTL.

I am using Ravenol MTF-2 in my Z4M and like it. It’s similar to MT-LV but a hair thicker.

As an MTF-LT2 user here (happy with that) I'm curious why MTLV when Redline doesn't recommend it for the trans on their website for our application? I run this in my Tacoma transfer case however.

I only ask because at one point, some folks said run Syncromax and I tried that it was crap; so back to OE fluid and no problem. I don't try to figure the fluid thing out too much, maybe to my own detriment so I'm interested in the thought behind MTLV here.
