    Eventuri filter efficiency on s54

This has always worried me although I love the intake on the s54. Has anyone on here done a used oil analysis after running one of these for a while. I do not have access to a UOA where I live. Looking for some reassurance that the filter is at least OK. Obviously never going to be as good as the factor one.

Also posted on m3cutters.com so will share any feedback between sites.

    I thank you.

Evolve uses ITG filters. I would just service it using ITG's cleaning/oiling kit during their recommended service interval.

Not sure that's true. Filter seems to be made by Simota. Itg does not feature in this intake as far as I know. Thanks for the reply.

That's right. I misread it thinking this was an Evolve carbon CSL airbox. They call all their intake stuff Eventuri nowadays. Yeah, the Eventuri CAI filter is not made by ITG. Most of the aftermarket filters, including BMC, give up some filtration for increased airflow. I wouldn't worry about it.

This is a good question. I suspect the chance of credible controlled data will be slim.

you might be able to find some tilted efficiency tests for different brands of filters

have you asked Evolve about filter efficiency and things like that? I suspect if they had anything positive and credible they would be marketing it already though
