    LCM Rebuilds

    Hi All!
I’ve got a bad LCM. Codes below all appeared at the same time, lights still work but point high and right, so I feel confident in the diagnosis but let me know if I’ve missed anything.

The issue I’m having is finding someone who will rebuild the LCM. Contacted UpFix, Xemodex, Module Masters, and ECU Maverick who either do not fix or them at all or replace with their own. Given the costs, I thought I might see if anyone would repair my original unit and send it back.

S0051 - no communication with rain light sensor
S0035 - no communication with headlight beam throw adjustment
000022 - front load sensor, short circuit to negative
000024 - rear load sensor, short circuit to negative
Car also has a red TPMS light that can’t be retrained.

    TIA

Buying a used one is going to be a lot more cost effective

assuming the LCM is the actual issue. It could be something else going on, potentially a wiring / ground issue

terra Good call out. I ran through the connections and grounds throughout the system and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary. There is one thing, maybe it rings a bell: There’s a noise that happens at random when the car is running, from the area of the LCM. I believed it was the ECU box fan. I’ve not heard that these LCMs would make a noise when they fail, but that’s all I’ve got left…
