Ya'll know Bavsound coupe rear speakers don't actually fit, right?

Ok, I am being a smart ass. But they for sure don't fit my rear enclosures as is.

Here is how the speaker sits in the enclosure.

About an 1/8" height difference vs stock is part of the issue.

The chunky rubber band around the magnet is the main culprit.

Rubber band off, sits much better, but still needs some spacers to pull the speaker up a bit.

With two stacked washers, hard to tell, but still too close for comfort near an indent in the enclosure.

    Indent in question.

With the indent cut out, and stacked with two washers.

It clears now, but it's close. Plug and play my ass haha. If they didn't change the design, are people just jamming these things in there? haha

Anyway, figured I make a quick post about it. I got super irked about this, b/c there is not a single peep online. They must have just changed the design a little, b/c there is now way haha.

I was getting ready to say I didn't have problems but then I saw this is the rear speakers and I installed on my vert, not the coupe. Yeah that would irk me too.

I'd go with BlueTac instead of washers if I were in your shoes. I wouldn't be able to convince myself none of that would rattle. Just run the screws through the BlueTac, and use it to insulate against the indent. My BavSound is vert too and many moons ago so I have no idea what they're doing for the coupe.
