They are marketing this a catback system so my theory is this will be sold as a section 2+3 combo set. There is no section 2 that will bolt up to the section 3 how it’s currently designed.

However we are working on a Quad Sonic rear muffler that has dual inlets, made to fit to the SS dual pipe mid section.

Sunbeam is a TINY company that can't keep up production with the orders they already have.

Not to mention, the Sunbeam is 60mm inlet pipes.

And to top it off, when you message Sunbeam they don't even respond. Sunbeam is not a serious company, and manufacturers like Supersprint are not worried about a couple sections 3s taking their business.

I don't even know what to tell you LOL. Just look at the two. Seems to me like unnecessary Supersprint glaze. You can see such an obvious attempt at clearing up any claims of copying too.

They close off ordering to accommodate for their production limitations. I see no backlash when Autosolutions does this...

Sunbeam is NOT a tiny company. Maybe in your eyes they are, because they just broke into the USA E46 M3 scene, but this company has been in their family for 3 generations... if you actually did any research, you'd see. I see them sending out at least 5+ Section 3's a month, do the math yourself.

I don't know how you can't talk to Sunbeam, they always respond to me, and to literally everybody else I know. They figured out my whole customs clearance for me while I was waiting on my Section 1, even giving me some free stuff for the time it took. He is THE most responsive, honest, reliable vendor I have ever talked to. Your experience != everybody else's.

If you wouldn’t mind, could you please ask Supersprint to confirm the weight of their new Quad Sonic rear section? It would be interesting to see how it fares against their LWR.

Would add that a standalone Quad Sonic rear section which is compatible with the OE section 2 would be welcomed. So it may be worth also highlighting this to them.

Ken from Sunbeam runs a humble, honest, and hardworking business. I’ve never experienced such quick responses on communication. Sometimes I’m amazed at his response time, he’s sending back messages between 3-6am on his local time from where I live in California.

Exactly! He's such a nice person I feel like some of us are more mad about the situation than him somehow. I talked to him about the new Supersprint Section 3, this is what he said:

"But honestly, I think it’s a great thing that so many people are still developing and getting excited about E46 M3 parts in this day and age! To me, that just means we’re entering a great era for the E46 M3."

Such a nice guy. Don't know how anybody can ever downplay his character or products, both of which are top tier.

And yes, even though Ken is supposedly fine with it, I still think Supersprint has no spine.

I've never talked to the guy so I don't have any feedback on how nice of a guy he is... but I'll take you at your word.

Either way, I've messaged Sunbeam, twice, asking about the diameter of the pipes coming off the Section 2 and if it could be made to be 63.5mm. I haven't received a single response.

Meanwhile, Supersprint took a couple hours to respond to my first and only email.
