Dilemma: Keep M3 or 911 (sad story)

Wanted to give you an update.

I have an M3, an FD RX7 LHD (newly acquired childhood dream car), Carrera 997.2 C2S with factory aero, and my montero.

I DID end up selling the Carrera 997.2 because I got an offer I couldnt say no to. I practically made double, someone wanted it that bad. I couldnt say no.

Chances of me getting a carrera of that caliber is slim to non-existent and I knew that going in but it took me 2 weeks to decide to sell. But i had no sentimental value to the car. I wil instead think of getting my wife a porsche so that I can also enjoy it. or be one step closer to a GT3 if that is even possible now that they are inorganically climbing in prices.

So my advice would be all depending on what your goals are and if any sentimental. I got my montero still and wont be selling it.

these are cool, i don't know much about them but i know they're the same as Pajero. Pajero Evolution is probably one of the coolest offroad vehicles that was sold to the public.

My vote says keep it all but Im special.

I kept my late fathers 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Limited.

I also have a 997.2 C2S and love that car. it has factory aero. its just a beautiful car. AND the 911 out of the box is leagues above hte m3.

Life gets in the way, but in the future when you want it again you will end up paying more

This is all sage advice. Seems like you found a way to keep both, OP. That was the move. 997 is peak 911.

Making long term decisions based on short term problems almost always leads to regret.

Also (off topic), Montero—sick. You know the RB26 drops into that, right?
