This is normal - same thing happens when installing a quicker rack, although it'd likely be worse with the SLR kit since the ratio change is greater. The DSC system measures steering angle and compares it to the vehicle speed and accelerometer data to determine if the car is heading on the driver's intended path. If the car is under or oversteering it will apply brakes to try and correct for it. Since the steering angle sensor is mounted on the column and not the rack, any change to steering ratio will completely throw this system off. What's happening now is the car is turning/rotating a lot more for a given steering angle, leading the DSC system to think the car is oversteering. You'll likely just have to disable DSC when you drive. If you have an 03.5+ with Mk60 ABS system you can flash it to the ZCP/CSL rack setting which will help, but may not be enough.

Were you able to retain the under body panel (photo attached with pane circled in red)? On the AKG Motorsports DTM style control arms ( https://www.akgmotorsport.com/produc...-and-z4-not-m/), you can't retain this plate.

You can keep the plate with dtm control arms, it will mount just fine but it will not connect with the control arm mount points.Originally posted by Feffman View PostWere you able to retain the under body panel (photo attached with pane circled in red)? I am going to have an extention welded to my plate in the future and source a longer bolt to reconnect on it to the control arm on the subframe mounting point.
The rear mounting point (fcab) is not possible to connect unless you have a custom mount made.

Which of the DTM control arms are you currently using? Any photos of the control arms with the plate in place? 🙏
