I'm on the softest setting avaliable on my Ohlins and I find it undailyable in Seattle roads. Ohlins are NOT a comfortable ride.

Maybe your car isn't setup correctly?

KWs are generally harsh.

It was a stripped out track car at this point but my car rode great on TC Klines with 400/700 springs which were just inside the range of flat ride.

Agreed 9kracing, I’ve just recently had 2 people I let drive my car be shocked at how compliant the Ohlins ride for how low I am…

They are by no means soft but they don’t crash over bumps at all. I’ve had absolutely no complaints and I’ve put 30k miles on them in 3 years including NYC and poorly maintained backroad driving. I am running stock tophats though which might add some cushion.

The 400lb spring on Ohlins e46 kit is a bit much imo. Go down to the 60nmm option (343lb) - that's the sweet spot IMO. It's what the e9x comes with for some reason, maybe they learned their lesson. Their rear's 628lb is perfect imo except for vert, I'd go up another 10n/mm (685lb)
