I’m process of replacing my rod bearings and found some wear on the oil pump that is concerning me. Can I get a second opinion on this? The groves catch my finger nail.

The pump suck in a pieces of metal and wedged them between the rotors and the cover to cause the deep scratches and this causes oil leak from the high P side to the low P side, you don't want that. I would replace it with a good used one.
Interesting why they didn't index the dot on the rotor at the red mark I added.
