    Supersprint on sale @ ECS

Just bought a pair of the stepped headers/catted Sec. 1. Won't be here until October because of the the Sec 1. Can't wait, I sure hope my N54 studs (etorx) are long enough, may have to find a way to measure if they will work.
I am running Euro headers/cats, for this money I sure hope these SS parts are what they are made up to be!

Just had a great time with them. It resulted in them cancelling a $1,400 order paying more elsewhere for the same things.

To be fair is it only 15% off?
I recall a lot of people finding that ordering Supersprint through Schmeidmann (even with additional tax/shipping) was noticeably cheaper.
But sure, 15% off is a lot better than full list price. 👍
*because that BlackFriday 50% Off isn't going to be happening again anytime soon.

Feels like Schmiedmann's prices have gone up? They're about on par with ECS's 15% off prices right now. But then you also have to pay shipping from Denmark.

What you really want to wait for, though, is Schmiedmann having a sale

ECS is showing ETA till Aug.25th.

When ECS has a 15% sale... Schmiedmann follows shortly with 15% off as well. You have till 7/6/20 to place your order with ECS, check Schmiedmann till then and figure out which place gives you a better deal after taxes/import duties (if applicable).

For reference I bought a Supersprint Race section 3 in March back when Schmiedmann was having a 10% off sale, and paid $1286 + $127.56 shipping for a total of $1413.56. ECS currently has the same muffler for $1437.65 + sales tax and free shipping. I'd say if you want something, just go for it. Not worth waiting around to save $30 on a several thousand dollar purchase.

While I agree in general, Schmiemann's prices have in the past been several hundred dollars cheaper than ECS's sale price for items like V1s and catted sec1. And if you get multiple items from Schmiedmann, the shipping doesn't go up by much. Depending on who you are, saving, say, $400 on a set of V1s + cats may be worth it. But if you can afford to not have to wait then all the better, ECS is fine.

It seems to me that SuperSprint quality is not what it used to be. Ordered stepped headers and catted Sec 1 back in April through ECS. Received them just to find out that the flanges were not all in line on the stepped headers. Now waiting until end of August for a replacement. Also, another thing to keep in mind is that even though ECS pictures show the O2 sensor plugs, mine came in without them. ECS did get it sorted for me on the Sec. 1. I will see what happens when the new stepped headers come in.

Mind you, I used to run there catless setup years ago and those were top quality.

What makes you want to upgrade to the Supersprint setup btw? I have a set of Euro cats, and was planning on installing them along with some Euro headers.

More power, I love the factory parts but I'd like the additional power the Ssv1s provide. Just so expensive, I payed $1100 for my Euro setup, but they are used parts.

So, does that mean you’ll have euro cats for sale? If you do, is it too early to call dibs?

It will and it is lol. BTW it will be headers/cats for sale as a package. If for some ungodly reason ATB88 hasn't gotten his by then I gotta help him out. So it remains to be seen, sorry!

^^^ Much appreciated 🙏 glad my desperation is catching on with everyone (fwiw I already tried to call dibs on his euro cats like a week ago hahah)

I'd have no problem buying them as a set if that's what you need, euro headers are easy to sell
