The SMG system reminds me of the ABS. The pump seems to be attached to an ABS module just programmed to actuate at different pressure for different periods of time. They use brake lines and a reservoir. Instead of having a master cylinder, there's a pump electronically controlled. Because of this, I believe you must actually drain the lines to get the fluid out. That's how it has to happen on a braking system. Instead of pushing a pedal, which doesn't exist, you have to just drain the lines. I have no idea how the system actually bleeds itself. I would think it uses the solenoids inside to flow fluid around somehow. Maybe it creates vacuums in the right areas.This is my Unbuild Journal and why we need an oil thread
