Track Spec Hood Vent Kit Questions

So I’ve been contemplating on getting this kit for heat extraction purposes and cool points as well but I did have some questions regarding it.

1. Do the side vents affect the hood closing? I have seen a video where someone had trouble closing the hood but that might just be user error.

2. Is it bad if a good amount of water gets inside the engine bay? I live in CA so sometimes we get rain and I also wash my car often.

3. is it even worth getting?

I wish someone would make these that mount under the hood.

Sorry, nothing else to add...2. depends one what's under your hood kinda but I wash my engine bays all the time and 3 if you're tracking it sounds like it's worth it.

2. When storing or hauling the car in the rain I will cover the hood vents. One of the hood vents is right over the air intake box. Shouldn't leak but better safe than sorry.

3. Looks good. I bought the car with them so I can't give you before or after on cooling.
