Trunk Button Repair?

Today I noticed that the rubber cover on the trunk release has come out and is just hanging on by a small edge. Is this a repair or do I need to open it up and replace the whole rubber piece?

If it's just the rubber, glue it back. I've never seen this before. It's usually the whole thing that falls off so consider yourself lucky.
