Wrapping up an engine rebuild. Changed the clutch, flywheel, throw out and pilot bearings. Now stuck on the last step!
I cant for the life of me mate the transmission to the engine. It seems like the angle for the pilot bearing and input shaft must be perfect for it to slide in. It's been extremely difficult doing this with the engine on an engine hoist and transmission on a jack. Lubricated all surfaces with a dry moly lithium grease.
Has anyone dealt with this before? This is the only thing in the way of firing up the car after a rebuild
