Which csl airbox to buy?

Yes. Either custom alpha-n dyno tune or CSL DME with stock CSL tune (you can also get a dyno tune on top of that if you want max power).

Interested in hearing thoughts on this as well. Between Karbonius and Evolve are there any big differences or just splitting hairs? Considering one doesn't intend to run the flap?

Too bad, really, I had high hopes for the streamline box!Originally posted by Obioban View PostI don't think any of them make more power than stock, but I'd get Karbonius if buying today.
I would NOT buy streamline without... many, MANY positive reviews from people that have owned it for years. They've spewed out a ton of garbage and I have yet to see any long term positive experiences.

And the evolve box is a copy of the oem box I’m running.Originally posted by Motorsportdreams View Post

IMO the best thing about the flap is that it looks stock. If I had one, I’d code it to be open 100% of the time, as every dyno I’ve seen has it closed only hurting power.
If you don’t mind the not stock look, and are going to run it open, the evolve/karbonius race makes sense imo... which is why I’m running it (albeit the oem version).

I've been given the impression that the OE design is now outdated in the sense that Karbonius and other companies (TMS) have either improved upon or changed the design for better airflow. There doesn't seem to be any hard dyno data comparing, though, which is unfortunate. But I don't see the point in spending the insane amount of money on an OE box when the cheaper options are designed to make better power and look every bit as good (at least in Karb's case).Originally posted by usdmej View Post
