I'm about to place an order for the Karbonius Race airbox. It's $1950 and has the integrated snorkel.

Strength of the dollar vs. euro right now is making Karbonius / Haimus options look like a pretty good deal.

Dinan is 2.5". Megan el supremo is 2.5" There are a couple of others. 1st Gen El diablos were a measly 55mm, so that was restrictive, yes.
The full SS 2.5" with a 2.5" muffler is better than the single 3" esp for a street or dual duty.

So what 2.5" sec. 3's currently exist besides SCZA and the Supersprint made to order 2.5" ?

The engine must simply want a bigger diameter pipe all the way down the line with these types of modifications..

They’ve found that their cars make more top end when switching to a 3in single exit, e.g. bimmerworld race. But the cars get really loud with that set up.

Mine was not. I saw that they were trying the frozen carbon but they hadn’t officially released it yet. I asked if they could make me one and they did.
