I'm about to place an order for the Karbonius Race airbox. It's $1950 and has the integrated snorkel.

Somewhat surprised to hear negative remarks about the RE mufflers as from what I understood that muffler had pretty good airflow due to the flow through design.
Dinan is 2.5". Megan el supremo is 2.5" There are a couple of others. That said, for our cars that don't have every single bolt on, there's nothing wrong with rocking a 60mm (2.36") muffler like supersprint, eisenmann or the latest El Diablo

1st Gen El diablos were a measly 55mm, so that was restrictive, yes.

The full SS 2.5" with a 2.5" muffler is better than the single 3" esp for a street or dual duty.

Haimus box installed, alpha N remote tune from Epic, everything else the same - 312 whp, 249 wtq

That's really good to see! I'm chatting with Hassan to work something out on tuning. I'll start with Alpha N and do MAP conversion afterwards to give some more data to owners.

    Thanks for the pics.

No joke. It's a race. $1 to the winner. Go!

The engine must simply want a bigger diameter pipe all the way down the line with these types of modifications..

I got it tuned at JMP. Jerick, who is the primary tuner there, believes that the limiting factor in my setup is the relatively restrictive section 3 (RE El Diablo). They’ve found that their cars make more top end when switching to a 3in single exit, e.g. bimmerworld race. But the cars get really loud with that set up.
It'll be so loud you won't hear the air box induction noise anymore lol

9% whp increase in my case with just the airbox. 11% increase for Gearhead55 , so about 2% whp gain from the headers (assuming that airbox and tune in isolation would have gained the same amount as mine did).

Mine was not. I saw that they were trying the frozen carbon but they hadn’t officially released it yet. I asked if they could make me one and they did. Even without the group buy price it ended up being around 2k shipped I think. Depends on the euro to usd conversion.
