... I work for a company that orders many parts from China (happily we're moving off that, finally). Bent and welded metal parts, so pretty relevant. Across suppliers, the experience is consistent-- everything starts out built to spec, and then drifts, when they think you are no longer paying attention. If you're Apple, sending 50 employees per day to/from China for QA, you can stay on top of them. If you're a normal company, far less likely you'll get as consistent of results.

They did fit better than my SSv1s. Had to fight with the SSv1s a bit to get them on the studs, the CPIs just slid on.

Easy to shit talk about a product on the forums, but how much empirical evidence is there? Back-to-back dyno sheets? Perhaps I'll make more of an effort to grab Euro headers.
I should say, he can sell the SS’s, after buying them from his competitor— ECS.

Jack “designed” the CPIs. Bimmerworld bought custom performance’s line when they closed shop.

There was several before/after comparison dynos on m3forum. That forum going down means we no longer have access to them.

He didn't design it, Jack did, a long time ago. "Design" might even be too strong of a word.

    Gawdamn newbs.

The dislike is because they’re worse than other options out there, including options that are cheaper than them.

Races IMSA, GT4...owns Bimmerworld. Has built one or two E46s in his lifetime.

Pretty hard to beat that value-wise. I don't get the hate towards CPI headers though; is there a big exposé thread I'm missing out on? Lots of back to back dyno comparisons showing that they suck? I generally take James Clay's advice on matters pertaining to M3s.

Aww man you're that dude, sorry about that. Hopefully you get it done up how you want it real soon.
