I have euro headers, euro cats (sec 1), and a scza. I didn’t like the rasp from that setup so I went with the dual resonated SS section 2. It quieted the car a not but I literally have zero rasp! No. I have most bolt on mods, no cams, and I felt a little more grunt. I think Hassan demonstrated an 8whp delta but that was with 280 cams iirc.
The aftermarket sect 2s that lose midrange power are the Y pipe aka "Xpipe" style with no crossover.

My phone is not calculating properly. I dug through some boxes and found my old TI-84 which does work properly. I finally got something with similar numbers to yours. It's really frustrating my numbers were so off. You definitely got the right answer.Originally posted by digger View Post

The loss of low end power is a result of cross over location (or lack of a crossover)— not from too large of a pipe.

I would like to try this Sec. 2 along with my SSV1'S, but with a 2.5" muffler (SCZA) I wonder if it's throwing a hotdog down a hallway w/o the cams.
