I got a used GSP SMG brake pedal. Very nice aluminum piece. No way my foot will ever slip off this pedal under braking. However the fitment on the top stud of the brake pedal bracket was a very tight fit. The instructions stated that a thin wall 13mm socket should fit, it didn't. Was able to snug it up with an open end wrench but it was not tight enough for my liking.
I ended up searching the McMaster Carr catalogue and found this nut:
Since it is a 12pt 10mm drive it fit perfectly and was able to get it nice and tight. Downside is now you need a 12pt 10mm to remove it.
If you're looking to install one of these I would recommend spending the $5 versus struggling with the open end wrench. To get it tight enough with the open end wrench I would have either had to buy a set of stubby wrenches or cut one of my existing ones. Not even a crows foot fit in there.
