I did this on my e39 touring a couple weeks ago. Holy crap that was a shitshow. Got it done though. Funny thing is I finally thought, after the fact, to see if there were any videos on it. Found this one. Still don’t think it would make it easy though. The difficult part is holding your breath the whole time so you don’t slightly jar the spring buttons and get them all out of whack. Funny point about not wanting to shoot it. I was about to blow a gasket on the fifth try before finally getting it. -
