    License plate bulb recommendation

I just tried to login to M3F and see it was down 😢 but I stumbled upon this site and see some old-timers. My car has been out of commission for 9 months as it was getting repaint and some minor work done. I noticed the rear light indicator error came on but the lights seem fine aside from the license plate bulbs which I think must be triggering the indicators. Can somebody recommend bulbs?

    Will these work?

No. Pull the light out and look at it. It's not LED and it's got a contact point at each side. It's good to change the plastic covers because they can break when removing them. I've also had to clean the contact points on the trunk for the lights to work. Sand paper works.

Thanks....I ended up ordering an OEM pair from another website. Thanks for the tips on the covers and the sandpaper.
