while I am here - Morimoto is decent budget bulb (what I have now), OSRAM/Philips are the champs. Avoid all amazon junk. TRS is your lightings best friend.

Agreed, TRS / TheRetrofitSource.com is one of the best lighting companies for our E46s.

Entire projector needs an upgrade (your bowls are probably melted/discolored too). mini d2s 5.0 look great (I have the older version and they are awesome but take some work to fit).

I appreciate the comments in this thread such as learning that clear ZKW lenses are a thing and the other bulb recommendations.
I ordered some Philips D2S 4300K 85122 bulbs. Basic stuff, $80 for the pair.
