M3 Coupe Door/Window Moulding Separation

Hi Everyone,

I'm a relatively new owner of a 2003 Alpine White M3. I bought the car a few months ago, but only now noticed some separation in the moulding that goes around the window seals (see pic). Does anyone know what could be causing this and what it would take to fix? Is it something that I can readjust or does something need to be replaced? Thank you.

Hi there, these are drip rails which keep water from the roof from coming down into the windows. You can’t really adjust them as the rail is connected to the car via screws. It’s just the design.
