Question regarding rim/tire fitment

Hi M3 Fam,

I just got some wheels for my e46 m3 and had questions regarding fitment. The new wheel size are 18x9.5 et23 and et40. Tires are Falken RT615k 265/35/18. I am currently running on ST coilovers with no camber. I few fellow m3 owners said I should be good as long as I get spacers for the front. The wheels just came today so I tested fitted the front and I'm worried either I might need to roll my fenders or get new coilovers. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

The ride height is 13in (measured the center of the wheel to the fender) and the tire size is 265/35/18. My concern is will it rub the fender and/or the coilovers once I install the spacer.

Depends on how low/camber you plan on going. Spacers will be required In the front to prevent rubbing against the coilovers. Rears should be fine without spacers. I think any offset higher than 35 require spacers for proper clearance. My old set up was 10.5x18 ET27 ARC-8 squared with Federal SS595 275/35/18, 3.8 front 2.5 rear camber, and low as possible on BCs and they fit well without spacers or fender rolling.

Thanks for the info. I dont have any camber plates installed so I might to play around with the set up. It’s good to know that this will fit. I plugged in your set up on wheeltheyfit.com and it looks like your set up is much more aggressive. So definitely think mine will work.

Yeah they were for a more aggressive track set up but I put it on my car for mostly looks. Handled very well. Fronts poked out quite a bit but damn did they look good.
