    Arc 8R Brushed Clear Pics?

Does anyone have pictures of some Arc8R's in the Brushed Clear finish they might be willing to post? Especially looking for pictures of this wheel/finish on Silver Grey Metallic.
I just canceled my order for a set of these due to my worries about the looks on my car, I can't find pictures of these wheels on my paint color. I love my 19" 67's but would like a lighter wheel.

On a side note, how much of a difference does a lighter weight wheel make on the street anyways? The rear would have dropped from 27lb to 19lb and the fronts from 26lb to 18lb.

8 lbs of unsprung weight per corner is a lot. Definitely noticeable even on the street, but it depends on how sensitive you are to these things of course.

Massive difference IMO re weight. I went from 27lb 19s to 20lb 18s and it was amazing.

Slivergrey is a tough color to match wheels to. Gloss black looks good, but charcoal, grey, hyperblack gunmetal et al just get lost, too similar. Flat black looks cheap and dirty, fine for track car ofc. The oe shadow chrome looks pretty good, but it still gets lost a bit. I think a hyper silver or race silver or whatever bright metallic silver is best for contrast. OE CSL/ZCP finish is unreal. Not sure which Apex finish is closest, race silver or hyper silver. Strangely, hyper silver only available on flow formed arc 8s, but race silver is on flow form ec7 and both forged wheels.

IMO, that brushed clear, while pretty, will get lost similar to how my old alufelgen gunmetals didn't quite mesh right (similar finish to apex imo).

I have a steel grey and I completely agree with your color combo statements. Although hyper silver is boring, it really is one of the best color wheels for steel grey and silver grey.

^ I agree with all of the above. Apex's flickr has some good photos to show their different wheels and colors. https://www.flickr.com/photos/apexraceparts/

I was extremely close to getting those Sportlines like you once had because I've seen those I really dig that look, and that price is attractive. However I have the 19" 67's and like how that polished finish just pops. It's all I've known since I've owned the M3 so its going to be a bit hard to choose something that's not as shiny...I know. I would probably get the polished finish Apex offers but its not offered in the offset I want which is a bit odd. I want a 18" wheel with the CSL look but I want something just a bit different color wise from what I generally see, some contrast but not too much.

I wonder if that Brushed Clear in either Arc8R's or EC7R's wouldn't pop a bit on the Silver Grey though?
I sure wish I could find some photos as thats a pricey set of wheels and I don't want to get let down.

I am STRONGLY considering getting the EC7Rs over the Arc8R's because I like the lugs covered up and the "open hub" design of the Arc-8's isn't growing on me.

Here is the closest photo I have found as of yet to a SG car with Brushed Clear.

LSB really shines with aluminum or hyper silver wheels. Black wheels are too muted and just doesn’t compliment it well at all imo. My car for reference

                  See: dafoe

                  silver's best imo

I don't know of any ext color looks better with a darker wheel rather than silver. Alpine and black stormtrooper is cool. Py and black is good though silver better again imo. Depends on the theme of the car mostly I guess. More oe+ or dark theme? or wild colors?
