If I remember correctly, they always advertised it as a European bearing. Ian's disassembly showed it was an OCAP bearing (Italian company that makes shitty knockoffs). Which may have been made in India, I don't remember that much

I wouldn't put stock in their claim of country of origin in general. They used to claim the whole thing was "Made in USA" which is what led to all the drama on m3f in the first place.

Just received bimmerworld RTABs. The pressed in bushing they use is stamped "MYLE 0911".

In my case I went with Syncro Design Works. After 3 years, all ok

If that is a Meyle balljoint (sounds like it is), you might want to consider another brand of RTAB - specifically one that uses a Lemforder ball joint.

What's the downside with the Meyle ball joint? Isn't it one of the acceptable OE manufacturers of ball joints?

Perhaps they once were, or maybe they never were, but had a German sounding name, but it's not OEM level, it's aftermarket (chinese).

It probably won't last as long.

I have Dinan now and I had to double check that the shop actually put them in because I didn’t feel the subtle harshness I had with powerflex RTABs

But, do the Dinan mono balls make the car handle better?

I installed mine at the same time as my Ohlins so it's hard to tell, but the rear end feels solid

I have the Turner Monoballs. Compared to OE w/ limiters, it makes a small difference at the track, makes steering with the throttle a little more predictable and easier to control.

Curious what TMS updated in their 'V2' RTABs.

I'm getting a very slight hollow knock over some bumps that's either coming from the TMS sealed RTABs or the ECS sealed RSM on what I think is my driver rear.

I figured it's the RSM, but now seeing Turner updated their rear bearings has me wondering.

When I installed the ECS sealed RSMs I instantly had a knock on the rear right... took me a while to nail down as I had done a huge car rebuild so lots had changed but narrowed it down to the RSM... I removed the shock with it on and could actually maneuver it to "knock" just with my hand. Took me a while but I managed to get them to replace that one... although now, years later (as original failure was ~2018) although <10,000kms I am starting to hear a knock from the rear left (ie the side that i didn't get replaced) although its nowhere near as pronounced as the first failure was so can't full tell what it is yet but I know where I will start...

Anyway long story short - I'd start at the ECS RSMs, I'm confident they are wayyy more likely to be your source than the TMS RTABs
