Vanos Allen Bolt Question

Does anyone know what is the intent of this Allen bolt?



I was thinking if that is the actual port where pressure should be measured ILO the Vanos Accumulator Line. The reason I am interested is because if this is the case, maybe this is where I should measure pressure to diagnose the pump state (before seals and restrictor valve).

I can’t recall for that specific one but i know there were plugs where they had to machine oil galleries at odd angles so they threaded and plugged the end.

If you remove it you can see that it looks just like the CPV in the block.
