    Vanos Banjo Bolt Threads

Can anyone confirm the threads on the Vanos Banjo bolt in the top of the Vanos ( the same as the one the fits into the accumulator)?

    This part: (https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...&q=07119905175)

    I have seen both M10 x 1 and M12 x 1.5 - if anyone can confirm this I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

I can't say I have ever held them side by side and taken dimensions/thread pitch measurements.

That said seeing as realoem list a quantity of 2 and it shows it in both those locations, I would say that those banjo bolts are 100% the same part.

Yes, sorry - i didn't fully explain - I am looking to verify the thread pitch because I want to buy an adapter that will allow me to fit a pressure gauge on the top accumulator line. I've gone through a number of threads here and the best confirmation I have seen was "this is what I ordered, I think it's correct" - I am trying to verify if the piece I need is M10x1 or M12x1.5 with the 1/8" NPT top port.

Thank you, I read your posts in the exact thread I was referencing.

Yes, this is the link from that thread, if this is the correct one I'll try to find it in the us, Amazon has some listed with a reasonably long lead time.

Not sure about thread size but I just did the job to replace that VANOS line and the banjo bolts ( 07119905175) are definitely the same between the accumulator and the top of the VANOS. If you need I can find the old banjo's and measure them.

I ordered the fitting mentioned above - M10 x 1 (20), I really just want to make sure that pitch is correct before I try and tread it. long delivery time and these things for some silly reason.
