Changed battery now my bc button doesn’t work. I’ve Searched

So today I replaced my battery with a light weight one and my bc button doesn’t work anymore. It’s stuck on time which I was able to set with the cluster knob. After use the search button, i ruled out blown fuse #10, don’t think the wire in the stalk is broken bc it worked right before the batrery change. Could I have erased the OBC function and is there a way to reload it back on? I more interested in getting my outside temp reading back. Thanks in advance for any help

Mine stopped working several years ago. It turned out to be the broken wire in the stalk iirc. I doubt you erased the functions by changing the battery. It’s not very difficult to fix if that’s your problem.

What's bc button?

It’s the button at the end of the turn signal stalk.

Mspir3d I was hoping it wasn’t the broken wire but I’ll have to dig in and investigate
