I don't have a personal IG, but feel free to reach out here if you had any more questions.
Having owned the standard PP's in a previous car, the ABE is a great departure for a car with stock seatbelts (pass-through).
I'm 6', 170ish with a 30 waist. You kind of need to push the belt receptacle up and sit under it while entering the seats, so the setup is definitely biased towards slimmer people. Here is a better pic from when I first installed:
Been eyeing the ABE instead of CS for weight savings. How's the harness holes for you? I'm around 5' 11" (31" waist) and the height of my shoulders are 25.5". From the measurements online, it seems like the harness holes on the PP (FIA and ABE are identical in height) are around 21.5" to 23.5" (bottom to top of hole).

If you don't mind, how's the height without the bottom cushion? Thinking about getting a thinner cushion made to make it work. Otherwise, the Cobra Nogaros is the only other seat that works as a daily bucket.

Very neat! What sliders did you use? I want to order a set and transfer my PPs from my e36 and test for a bit.

In my e36 I have no sliders as its a track car, but I would need them in the e46 as my kids sometimes ride with me and I would need to slide the seat fwd for them to gain access without destroying the interior.

As to the other person’s question on how comfortable they are. I am 5’10”, 174#s and 32” waist. I fit fine but as the OP mentions, the worst part is bucking up as you need to keep the buckle up and fumble with it until latched in.

If you use RECARO sliders (what’s pictured above), make sure the seat belt is mounted below the slider (does not move with the seat). The RECARO sliders will not hold up to the load of a seat belt in a crash.

          This^

I’m using Planted brackets in this case, which have a mounting tab for the OEM belt receptacle.

My car is currently in the shop, so I’m unable to grab measurements unfortunately.
I would say that at my height, I’ve never had issues with harness angle in pole positions (previous car had PP’s, fully caged with 5pt harness)
I’d assume the seat cushion compression would help with those dimensions above? I’d think you’d be totally fine 👍🏻

Those PPs look awesome! definitely my new favorite seat for the e46 M3. If I'm keeping my car I'm getting them.
