I picked up a set of these brackets to help with my rear bumper gap. They did a great job of closing up the gap and are much stronger than the originals. I would highly recommend them but now I don’t know how to install the metal clips that hold it in place. The originals were long gone...any ideas?

Brackets can be found on this website: https://trinitygraphicsnc.com/
I gave up on the clips and drilled a hole to run a zip tie through. I was able to pull the bumper cover up that way enough. I’ll replace the cover this winter as the previous owner messed it up where the diffuser fits.

I was trying to access this old thread because I think it shows the older style clips that my car uses but it was lost with m3forum
the newer style clips have a hook that goes on a bolt mounted in the fender. Part numbers are
51127896161, 51127896162.
the older clip part number i believe is 51124015053Last edited by Mspir3d; 09-28-2020, 10:45 AM.

The hole is on the inside of the bumper cover liner and wouldn’t be visible except I went a little too far. I just need it to last until the weather turns cold and I can replace it. I don’t want to lose it while racing and the last events of the season are coming up.
