Suspension refresh

Hello guys, my name if Felipe and I'm from Uruguay. For a while I been gathering parts for my subframe reinforcement (going with Reddish plates and Vince bar) and along with it I'd like to do a complete suspension refresh. I've read a lot of posts regarding springs and shocks combos but I reckon it won't hurt asking for specific inputs for my car.

The back story is that Uruguayan streets are a disaster and I'd like to upgrade to a suspension setup that retains or improves the factory ride. Having that in mind I'm inclined to get Eibach Pro Kit springs and Koni adjustable shocks.
Am I on the right track or there is another option I'm not considering?

Stock springs with Koni yellows, if your roads are truly terrible.

Yeah that option is on table but if I could lower it a bit while still maintaining factory ride I would go for it.

Is breaking rear OEM springs a real issue?

i had a broken rear spring on my car. i don't know how common this is although I've heard quite. Eibach and koni's is probably the best imo if you're looking to lower and not sacrifice ride too much.

For really bad roads, nothing beats suspension travel.

Broken rear springs are very common. Anything lower than stock will suffer the ride quality but you could still do it. Your choice

I finally settled for standard front Koni yellows and rear TC Kline top adjustable Koni yellows. Will try them out with OEM springs for now.

What's a good starting point, adjustment wise, for the shocks?

If the roads are as bad as you say. Start at full soft.
