Headunit upgrade

Hi all.
I currently have an 01 M3. I’m looking to up grade the head unit to a more modern 9”. My existing nav is the small 4:3 screen. Just wondering if anyone has upgraded from the small 4:3 screen to the bigger 9” if there is any differences aside from the extended wiring harness

The 16:9 Navi is plug and play, and you'd retain the OE functionality. Pair with a https://www.bluebus.dev/ and you can't go wrong

On the other hand, the Android units give you a bunch of modern features, but you pay for it in shitty support and buggy software.
