Hi all,
I've been searching for some nice wheels in my country for ages and in the last week I found an advert for 10J ET40 BBS square setup wheels that was advertised as E92 GT4 wheels. When I went to take a look at them they really looked as E92 GT4 wheels but the BBS code was different. The GT4 wheels are RE1243/2 but the one that I found was RE1608. They look almost identical but I was not able to find any information for the RE1608 wheels on internet. That's why I've contacted BBS and they explain me that this wheels are from Citroen WTCC 2014 race car. The wheels are 5x120 and they came with already made aluminum reducers for the center bore (the same as the one for the GT4 wheels). Actually, I was searching for a street friendly setup because I use my car mainly as a daily in the sunny days and I do 1-2 track days per year, but I really liked the wheels a lot and I was not able to miss them. So I've bought the wheels and they have already installed almost new semi-slicks tires 275/35/18 and 285/38/18. When I made a test fit of the wheels on my car, the wheels fit perfectly with 20mm spacer at the back and with the 275 tire. But as expected the front ones rub in my BC coil-overs without spacers. I took a set of spacers from a friend of mine and with 11mm spacer the wheel is not rubbing anymore but the tire is out of the fender around 20-25mm, I'm running the stock camber settings. So what will be the most street friendly setup for the tires and the camber? I'm considering 265/35/18 all around, F265/35/18 R275/35/18 or F255/40/18 R265/35/18 . I prefer to avoid the fenders rolling, if possible. Below are some pictures of the wheels installed with the 11mm spacers.
Thanks
