ULO vs Genuine BMW Tail light assembly

I’m looking to see if there’s any first hand experience with ULO tail light compared to genuine BMW taillight? My passenger side light on my 2006 is becoming quite intermittent.
It looks like online retailers seem to state it’s identical product minus genuine BMW numbering.

Get what you can as they are out of production and will quickly be NLA.

Just to confirm the ULO looks identical to the original part. Recently ordered the passenger side for back up and storage. Still looking for ULO drivers side, but i think those are NLA.

Correct, as from ULO directly regarding E46 LED taillights: "It will not be available anymore"

I have the ULO on my passenger side and confirm it is identical to the OEM tail. My driver's side turn signal LEDs gave out this weekend which means I will need to bite the bullet and purchase OEM since the ULO model is NLA.

Has anyone had success with ULO from Part Geek? Much cheaper than Turner, FCP, etc. There’s some word that Parts Geek will sub for inferior product.

No issues just make sure you don't accidentally order a convertible taillight.

I just checked Parts Geek and while they have a few of the the passenger side tails available they aren’t showing any availability for the driver’s side.

Unless there is NOS hiding somewhere there are no new ULO coupe LED driver/left side taillights left worldwide at the distributor/vendor level. I looked. BMW has the remaining stock for them, when they are gone it's no more.

I went ahead and ordered a ULO passenger tail as a spare knowing they'll be NLA soon; debating whether to do the same with the BMW OEM driver side.
