Milltek section 2

Hey guys, I was looking to change out my oem section 2. I’ll be installing euro headers and euro section 1. I read a few reviews on the M3 clutters site that this helped out a lot with rasp.

I would like some opinions/advice before ordering through eurotech in NJ.

No experience with that pipe but I have an SGT resonated x-pipe in section 2 and it just about eliminates rasp along with my catted section 1.

I’m kind of skeptical about SG. It goes from two pipes to one back to two. Also I have a rear diffuser from them and it doesn’t fit well at all so I was concerned about their fitment.


the section 2 from milltek looks somewhat similar to the néw SS version minus the sizing.

Waste of $. No H pipe. Stock is best until you're pushing 400hp+ then go to 2.5" SS dual pipe.

Question at hand was around sound, no? If you can live with rasp or solve it in section 1 then, no you don't need this. If not then a resonated section 2 does it.

I wouldn't recommend SGT based on their reputation but zero issues fitment wise with the particular pipe I have. It's actually a decent piece.

Ill be installing a euro section 1 with cats, no resonators. I was contemplating this section 2 bc the resonator looks a big bigger than the oem resonator that comes on the section 2. So I was hoping this would compensate for no resonator in the euro section 1.

FWIW I don't find the euro header & cat setup any raspier than the stock US catted header and resonated section 1 setup.
