M3 Floor Mats NLA?

I ordered a set and these are indeed embroidered:

Maybe both "versions" are embroidered but that photo looks like the "new version". That's good to know what these latest offerings look like regardless.

Differences I see:

- Middle line is a darker shade of blue as opposed to purple on the factory mats

- The "3" is shaped differently, like a different font is being used

- There is a pronounced line around the logo, that why I think it looks like an iron on patch and not as nice as the OG mats.

I bought 2 (black) sets when some thought they were going NLA and got the "shit" ones (IMO).
If they are back to the as from factory look I'll want some.

If you can phrase that such that the ECS rep can understand it and give a definitive answer I’d love to hear it. I don’t think their customer service people even work onsite after my last interaction with them.

What do the axes represent?

y-axis is HP per wheel
x-axis is revolutions per second

I glued the Velcro circles back onto the mats after the backing started to deteriorate. It was three years ago and so far so good (approx. 14,000 miles of use since then.) See my post picture test in this Discussion on the adhesive I used. If you search for Loctite in this Discussion it will pop right up.

Technically speaking, that's contact adhesive. It just happens you can use it on rubber, but it is not rubber cement, which is something different.

Haven't done it myself, but I seem to recall M539 using a drill brush attachment to scrape the disintegrating backing material off on one of his projects. Not sure what the ideal adhesive to use would be to bond the Velcro pad to the material underneath, I was thinking some kind of epoxy when I got around to give it a shot.

Interested in this as well. The thin fabric on the back of the mats disintegrated over time. The mats themselves are in great shape. I hot-glued the Velcro pads but they continue to separate from the mats. While purchasing new mats is an option, I suspect the same issue will arise in due time.

Not since 2021. It has been a while, but they have re-produced many others, so I'm sure they will get to E60. However, I'm still waiting for a new batch for E39M, and a factory run for E34M, so....

What is everyone doing once the mat backing dissolves? I tossed mine, I hate to say. Just made a mess everywhere.
