Well, it says up to 50% off, so that that 25% at ECS might be just as good if not better. I'm interested in a SS sec 2, ECS ships it free and I don't think that would would be the case with Schmiedmann.Originally posted by Nick_P View Post

That’s true and Schmiedmann charges a packaging fee on top of it if I remember correct. Btw are you sure the section 2 ships free from ECS? Cuz I was looking at getting the CSL section 2 from ECS but it was charging me around ~$200 shipping due to its large size. Might wanna double check that...after you checkout your cartOriginally posted by Cubieman View Post

Thank you . . . I just picked up that Eventuri . . . I talked to myself out of it, in it, out of it . . . but that price was way to smokin not to check it out.Originally posted by DropTopKingM3 View PostYou guys should really check out Auto Couture. They have some pretty nice deals going on right now and they also offer a coupon code.
Ex: Eventuri Intake $803.89 shipped! Wow.
I had the same question as someone else . . . is it really worth it, or just go CSL style airbox . . . my thoughts, I'd love that CSL airbox, but it requires a little more install care, and tuning. I am in Southern Cal and I do not want to get involved with SMOG related BS, for me the Eventuri is a nice compromise ( not awesome, or spectacular, but nice ... I think, or hope ).
Now I am killing myself over wheel deals
Thank you for all the BF tips!

In my opinion it’s way easier and cheaper to go with the eventuri. Also the Turner box has some downsides. Check out YouTube for some sound clips of the eventuri and you won’t regret it one bit.Originally posted by cbean View Post

What will be the power gain difference in the eventuri intake vs the CSL style airbox? I'm sure some of us would like to know, including myself.Originally posted by DropTopKingM3 View Post

I’ve watched a few dyno videos on YouTube and saw an 8-10 hp gain. I’ll search and post some in a bit. I’m installing mine as soon as I have my car back from having all the convertible top components replaced. I’m going to do a before/after review.Originally posted by trudriv3r View Post

I’m going to dyno tune my car after the install with the HTE tune. I won’t be able to report an exact power gain off the intake alone but my results will give you somewhat an idea what a tune along with the intake , euro headers:cat combo will make.Originally posted by cbean View Post"I’ve watched a few dyno videos on YouTube and saw an 8-10 hp gain. Consistent with what I have read.
And the CSL style intakes ... what I have read depends a lot on your specific car, but 20 - 30 wheel horse power gains. I bet there is a large range depending on mods, fuel, and tuning.
i believe the 25whp gains on the CSL style boxes are commingled with a tune so you and I should probably make just a little less power with an eventuri an a tune.Last edited by DropTopKingM3; 11-26-2020, 03:38 PM.
