Pre-load on factory end links with lowered suspension setup

Running lowering springs on my e46 with the stock factory end links. So it appears there is a bit of pre-load.

How badly does this affect the suspension geometry?

As it has been explained to me is basically it turns the sway bar into an additional spring. Its more complicated than that but that's the gist. Some cars come stock with a slight amount of preload (to avoid clunking) but too much and its going to alter the effective spring rate.

FYI You only really need one adjustable and link to take the preload out.

Adjustable links should be used whenever lowering a car. Preload on the swaybar will ruin performance and stock links affect full travel
