I just recently relocated from CT to CO and am looking to have my E46 M3 shipped out here. Does anyone have any recommendations for reliable/reasonably priced shipping companies they have used in the past? I am fine with it being on an open trailer as the vinyl wrap is due to be replaced anyways. My biggest concern is the ground clearance...it is pretty lowered.

DO NOT input your details into an auto transport website. Most are brokers that push it out to a million different companies, who then all bombard you calls/email/text with quotes, and for many months thereafter.

what he said.... hard to deal directly with the driver to figure out who the heck will be transporting your car. all brokers are complete effing liars too so dont believe a single word they say.2005 Phoenix Yellow M3 Coupe 6spd

jbfrancis3 is absolutely right lol
try Kwick Trans Inc https://kwiktrans.com/ great guys based out of MA, i have used them 3-4 times now. they even had a z8 going AZ to MA once and it was pristine.
I just shipped my M3 in a covered rig from MA to AZ back in September. zero issues, ahead of schedule and you can txt the driver for updates etc. in terms of ground clearance im not super low but im running about 25.75" to top of front fender with the CSL CF front lip and the ramps were able to accommodate no problem2005 6MT Coupe Mystic Blue

I used Capital Auto Transport when I shipped from Oregon to Ohio last January. They’re brokers but I was extremely happy with them. Found them from another M3F member I believe... anyways I think you can google search then or email them here: capitolautotransport@hotmail.com
Price was cheaper than anything on the major brokers or UShip.

$0.40 is honestly a steal. I was limiting my search to a few hundred miles as I'm concerned about flying out somewhere, driving back, and potentially staying in motels with the pandemic going on. If I could ship it for a decent price I truly cannot complain.2005 BMW ///M3 Alpine White/Imola Red 6MT

I feel the need to give an update on Kwick transport, as I honestly haven't had this terrible of an experience trying to give someone my business in a long time. I called to get a quote and was told "I'm too busy right now, send me a text and I'll get back to you." then was hung up on. I sent a text requesting a quote and never heard back. Followed up again via text a few days later and still no answer. I just called again and after saying I was following up on my quote request to ship a car from CT to CO he said, "No trucks going to Colorado." I proceeded to say "Are you sure, other carriers are telling me there are?" And he literally just hung up on me. Absolutely god awful customer service.
I am continuing to work with Andy at Capital Auto - he has been a pleasure so far. Very patient and has provided a ton of information and is working with me to find the right time to execute given the wild demand during the pandemic and my flexible schedule.
I'll follow up with my experience after the car is shipped, but just wanted to update on Kwick transport so others don't waste their time like I did.
