DIY: Rear Vent Window Bolt Retrieval From B Pillar

If you accidentally drop the rear vent window bolt down into the B pillar, there's an easy way to retrieve it. I used a thin bendable magnet I purchased off Amazon. The bolt won't fall all the way to the bottom of the pillar as there's a structural piece inside the pillar that stops it.

Here's what the bolt looks like:



Here's the magnet I used:



I inserted the magnet from the outside lower hole of the car.

Have this magnet arriving today. Lost the bolt on one side (fell out of socket after removal) and a nut on the other side. Trying to do this with my roll bar preventing complete trim removal, dumb.
