    Front LCA ball joint replacement

I was curious to see if anyone has replaced just the ball joints themselves in the lower control arms. At $260 a piece, it seems a little steep for essentially just replacing these ball joints. I looked around online but I could only seem to find info on ball joint replacement on non-M, Meyle LCA's. If this has already been covered somewhere and I just couldn't find it, mods feel free to delete this. Thanks!

I recently replaced both FLCA after lots of research about getting the parts. I found that there are no available ball joints only for the M cars. I recall the reason is that the arms are aluminum and can't take the stress of having the ball joints being pressed in/out of them. Looks like your research results are the same as what I found.
Give yourself a Christmas present, and go for new control arms!

Get the lemforders, $235 ea at ECS or $264 FCPeuro. Don't get the $170 MTCs. No need for Genuine BMW $300/ea ones.
