    10.5” Wheels Tire Sizing Question

After reviewing the ‘tire sizing thread’ I was unable to find the answer, so please advise...

I recently picked up a set of BBS CH-Rs. The rear wheels are 19x10.5, fronts are 19x8.5.

it looks like I can safely run 285 via one of the combinations listed in the ‘tire sizing thread’.

What would I run with a 295 rear?
    Just some old shitty cars.

It will depend on the tire. Either way, you’re gonna need to flatten that inner lip on the rear fenders which isn’t easy.

You’ll have to roll the fenders. Question is how much.

The exact tire will make a difference. Some run wider than others.

Not quite. My rear fenders have been rolled as much as possible without removal of the factory rust protection rubber stuff they put in there. I was running a 285/30/19 (Kumho PS91) on a 10.5" +22 alloy. IIRC they still rubbed a little with those alloys.

I'm now running a 10" +25 on the same spec tyre and it does not rub.

Short answer is yes it will rub and you will need to roll the inner fender lip to fit a 285/30/19 (assuming you're lowered too).

Interesting. The wheels came with some old tires, they’re hankook something or other, that I do not plan to keep - 275/30/19 and there looks to be a lot of space left.

The rear wheels are 19x10.5 et25
