I am not sure if what I am looking for exists, but my wife likes to rip the M occasionally. Everytime she takes it I feel as if I have to remind her to not exceed 3k RPMs until EOT are at running temps.

What Id like to do is control the redline to read 4k until operating temp is reached. Is this possible?
This is not possible. For DME "Coding", you should look at the MSSxx Binary Modification Tool linked above from ECUWorx.

M3Forum used to have a trove of information with regards to what options were available in the DME and at what section of the EEPROM they exist. I'm not sure that made its way here :/.

I'm sure what you describe is possible, basically a valet mode, but to MY knowledge you won't be able to accomplish anything of the sort with a graphic interface click the box type of program.
      Maybe tunerpro?
As mentioned above its a shame all that past information is gone.

I understand this is an “engine temperature” error.

Can anyone help me break down the important information on this error history? I am having trouble identifying the exact issue. What all do you process on this sheet? I see error 105, however on the bottom there is another list of errors. 69,88,01,0C, etc. What information on this screen needs to be processed and what to be ignored?

          Thank you!

It's simply complaining that the water temp sensor on the lower rad hose sent a value that was "implausible".

Error Frequency: How many times the error occurred
Logistic Counter: How many drive cycles before the error goes away

Motordrehzal: RPM (not important in this case)
Relative Fuellung: I think this is engine load?
Kuehlwassertemp: 41C (Important in this case)
versorgungsspannung: Battery Voltage (Important sometimes. If the voltage gets too low, sensor could go haywire)
aufgetreten vor (rel. BZ): I think this is how long ago in runtime the error occurred?

The "Error" code is the raw hex values that from the error log.
0x69 in Decimal -> 105 (the Error Code)

The car logs anything it thinks may be applicable to understanding the source of the problem.

In any case, this seems like a one time issue.

Concur. The only time I haven’t seen this code is when the ecu has just had its codes cleared. Its very common and usually benign.

                Thank you gentlemen!

I am more than thrilled that was the only thing in the error history.
