    SMG shift rod actuators question

The tail shift rod has 2 actuators for rotational and linear motion to shift the gears. The linear actuator has 2 hydraulic pipes for moving the rod forth and aft to engage odd or even gears, and the rotational actuator has only one hydraulic pipe to rotate one direction against a compressed spring to the selected gear gates (R, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 planes). The question is with no pressurized oil, which gear plane is selected by the compressed spring? I think it's either 5/6 or R as they are the end of the rotational travel.
