I had the same issue (brake and traction control light coming on) at a track event at Rhoebling. They would go off after cycling power to the car. Scanned with INPA and it had stored the code for my brake pressure sensor 1. Had to replace it and its a pain. There are two brake pressure sensors on the master cylinder. Anyway, the only way to really know is to scan the abs computer.

Correction not the abs module but the dsc. Depending on the year but mine was the mk60.

I’m on team abs sensor. Had one go bad and would get dsc light and brake intermittently until I replaced it. Hooked up INPA to get the code and location. In my case it was passenger rear. Mind you with was on an e46 touring.

+1 on checking wheel speed/abs sensors. Had one loose that was freaking out the system intermittently.

I'm on team it's all guessing till you plug into a computer.

Hey guys I have been tied up in hearings for the past two days. I am going to run out and check the modules with BMW scanner in a moment and report back.

I know the DME codes are from from a recent exhaust conversion. I will leave the rest of the interpretation up to y’all, as you have exponentially more knowledge than I do. It looks like I have bad steering angle sensor as well?

I see those steering angle sensor faults all of the time. From looking at this I would initialize the steering angle sensor and both acceleration sensors as a next step.

Dumb question. Can this be performed with INPA?

Yes you can look at it live. It should show the angle as you turn the steering wheel

That I do not know, I haven't tried to use INPA or PASoft for those functions.

I see a fault for the yaw sensor.

It appears to be the brake pressure sensor from my deduction. I installed an AiM Solo 2 DL before my last event (CAN Connection) and I am getting readings from all wheel speed sensors, but no reading for Brake Pressure (PSI) which I should given the AiM config. These things look like a PITA to install but such is life. Thanks Guys.

Also could be ABS module but I’m not seeing any errors or warning lights and it appears to be reading wheel speed correctly.

Edit: Getting accurate steering angle input despite that error. Strange.

For whatever reason, AIM cannot read the brake sensor channel on our cars.
