DMC diffuser looks good in terms of fit and CF weave quality. I may give it a try (slightly cheaper than the HBIN vans euromotorsport ebay options as well).

This is Mparts' ebay store. On the DMC site, the diffusers look to be $100 more.

Nah you did the right thing with 2x2 for the airbox.

    That's my biggest irk.
This is exactly why I ditched the ugly wavy 2x2 SG one that came on my car as soon as Mile End started selling his back in the day. Shame he disappeared.

Maybe the $2k price will look cheap in 10 years...

I looked for a long time. No clue if there is. I may swap this thing out if it bugs me after paint. Buy cheap, buy again. But I sure as hell wasn't gonna pay OEM price for this piece. OEM CSL makes sense for some pieces, but $2k for that piece... for me, doesn't compute.

Epoustouflant has a decent looking one from Rene I believe. I may go that route eventually, even if only because the metal tabs bug the crap out me on the happysuckafool piece. I mean seriously... oversized paperclips is what they gave us to work with?

BTW, I saw someone mentioned "would be nice if Karbonius started making these" or something like that. I agree and asked Karb and they currently have no plans to make one.
