Unfortunately no pics of the small vents. I've only sold 1 set very recently and yet to put them on my project car.
They are very small. About the length of your hand but narrower and are limited to the gap between the under bonnet bracing and crease on a pre-facelift Non-M.
I've pasted the opening dimensions below. This is also the only visible portion from above. Imperial measurements with a bit of rounding would be ~2" x 6".

I received my hood vents yesterday. They look nice and the install instructions are well written. One thing to note, and maybe this is stated but I missed it?, is that these are designed for under hood mounting only. The alignment tabs that are used to position the vent for cutting the opening will not allow for top mount. I could easily cut the tabs off but then will be left with the "undercut" from the tab cutout. Other than that, I'm happy with the product, especially given the cost savings over the alternatives.
edit: it is explicitly stated in the description that these are design for under hood mounting. I failed at reading comprehensionLast edited by Sergmann; 03-10-2021, 08:08 AM.

Glad to hear they arrived and you're overall happy.
Keen to see your install/function experience if you're willing to share.

Very nice piece of kit. I got one as I am going to a 265 square set up and wanted to offset the loss in steering feel that will come with that a little bit. Currently running a 235 tyre with a purple tag rack and the solid steering coupler. Steering feels the best it ever has. Bit worried I'll actually be disappointed at the downgrade when going to the square set.
The coupler is a huge ballache to install (and I did it while the engine was out, so it would be even worse doing it from underneath.) And I would say the improvement was noticable and makes the steering feel tighter with no additional vibration or harshness. But certainly not earth shattering. I don't think you will ever get rid of the slight dead spot at centre on these cars.Last edited by Thoglan; 06-14-2021, 04:15 PM.

RHD have two UJ's so swapping the coupler doesn't cause binding while LHD cars have the one at the fire wall end so the rubber joint helps with misalignment to a very small extent. For LHD cars get a UJ to replace the whole piece.
The LHD cars don't have the same style of collapsible section so it could be perceived that the coupler is designed to deform or tear in this situation so a metal block could also be a safety risk.
RHD cars suffer from these wearing out a lot more due to being so close to the exhaust manifold.
