    PSA: CMP 20% Storewide Sale

    Hi Guys,

I thought I'd do a quick post to let you all know that there's up to 20% off store wide on the CMP site.

The is the biggest discount ever offered and a great opportunity for anyone's after bushings or reinforcement kits among other things.

I was intending to advertise it next month but thought I'd share it here first.

Thanks for the heads up. If I were doing this in the spring, I’d want the reinforcement along with the rail plates? Skip the topside beam if you don’t have power mods and only drive on the street? Any advice on which bushings make sense to replace at the same time?

You would definitely want to do rear subframe and differential bushings at this point as your rear subframe/Diff. will be out of the vehicle if doing this repair, you will have easy access to rear suspension components. You need to have the plates underneath to take full advantage of the topside beam.
I probably won't ever run FI, so my car probably won't ever see more than 340whp, if that. I want to be convinced that the topside reinforcement is worthwhile. From what I understand it most definitely is worthwhile even on non-modded street driven vehicles but just might be a bit of over-kill. Sure wish I could weld and DIY this.

does anyone have any images of the hood vents installed? they look like a nice piece comparable to the N15 but at half the price. I just cant find any installed pictures anywhere.

It's the same price, they now offer USD pricing.

AussieE46M3 Thank you for the heads up! Just finished placing my order, Order #1207. I've been eyeballing a time to buy your E46/E36/Z4 Monoball Rear Trailing Arm Bush & E46/Z4 Solid Subframe Raising Bushes. Can't wait to add these to my E46 M3 build, your parts and engineering come highly recommended from the community and that's why I was set on your specific product and brand.

                      Lets goooooo!

That would be my suggestion for an initial reinforcement yes. The stage 1 & 1.5 kits (underside plates + chassis rail plates) provide some topside reinforcement while keeping everything hidden and light. The topside beam kit is also modular with the 1.5 kit so you can always add more reinforcement if you change your mind in future.

If you're open to bushing suggestion, in terms of aftermarket I'd suggest solid subframe and Monoball/ball joint style RTA bushes and stock for everywhere else.

If you want to shoot me an email I have a spreadsheet I can share with all the parts numbers for a suspension/driveline refresh.

They come as flat aluminium sheets that you use to template the holes before bending and painting (just like N15).

Here's some pics of a customer install. The vents are designed with small tabs to locate against the under bonnet bracing making positioning a breeze.

Sorry but, I don't pay that much attention to USD fluctuations.

My kits are made in Australia so Aud to Aud it's definitely being sold for less on this end. How it converts on your end isn't up to me.

AussieE46M3 Do you guys have a shop in Brisbane somewhere (I presume you're in QLD from your photos with QLD rego plates)? Or have an association with a shop that can do the subframe repairs?

I'm on the Gold Coast and have a small shop space of my own in Burleigh.

If you want to come by I can put your car in the air and give it a check over to give you an idea of the state of things and we can go from there.
